Registered Link Program
The Registered Link Program became the first method utilized by management to contribute capital through the sale of a participation Offer in Wytec’s core network infrastructure. To date, 202 participants purchased 302 Registered Links from Wytec through its wholly owned subsidiary, WyLink, Inc. As Wytec began developing its network infrastructure to accommodate sales to potential business customers for primary Internet access, it became recognized that the market was significantly unfamiliar with this new “wireless” alternative as a primary Internet solution to Cable. Thus, management realized that their would be a “learning curve” challenge for rapid sales adoption and ultimately impede future Link activations at a pace less than originally forecasted by management.
Therefore, Wytec management decided to provide Link Participants an alternative option to capitalize on their participation with an upside exit strategy by offering an exchange of Link Interest for the Company’s
Series A and Series B Convertible Preferred Shares pending a planned Initial Public Offering of the Company’s common shares. To date, more than 70% of Registered Linkholders have accepted the Offer and completed their exchange.
